ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Passionate About Inspiring Change
Javier Alvarez, President
A common definition for the word CAIRN is a pile of stones that marks a memorial, a landmark or direction on a journey.
I’ve been on a career journey myself – from studying Organizational Psychology at the University of Puerto Rico, to developing a passion for Industrial Engineering at Marquette University, to running the floor of a major manufacturer, to establishing long-term partnerships with blue-chip organizations to advance their own journeys.
Step by step. Milestone by milestone. One achievement building on another.
In order to solve complex problems, I’ve learned that organizations need to travel this road alongside the key members of the team – including local leaders who often operate independently from headquarters – so that progress can be made collaboratively with a full understanding of why every milestone matters.

That’s what we stand for at CAIRN COLLECTIVE. Progress fueled by people.

We’ve successfully partnered with large companies, like General Motors and The Kraft Heinz Company, as well as federal agencies, like the U.S. Department of Defense, to sort through the multi-layered clutter and remove roadblocks.

At CAIRN, there is nothing more rewarding for us than helping clients turn around their operations in a way that’s sustainable.

We subscribe to the PROSCI methodology that every organization has a different appetite for change – and employees won’t adapt easily just because high-level executives order that change. When you partner with CAIRN, we’ll make sure that everyone on your team is equipped to travel the same path toward progress.

Some people call this change management – and it is – but it’s more than that. It’s cultural transformation that builds on the right foundations, so that necessary changes take root. We’re excited to partner with you, so that we help you reach the right milestones on your journey.
Javier
